Getting Started

Hi! This is my very 1st blog and I am very excited. I am going to use this space to let all of my ideas out of my head. The plan is to start a few blogs in the future with my numerous hobbies as the focus. Those will probably be Horsin Around, Girl Scouts, and Decorating. I have many interests though so there may be more with photography, camping, cooking etc. Time will tell :)

Married in 2003
Gave birth to wonderful daughter in 2004

I have lived my life in rural West Virginia. My family and I do many fun things together. In our spare time we go horseback riding, play with our two labs, camp, canoe, eat well, hike, sit around campfires in our yard, go antiquing (or junking;), sit on the porch, read etc. etc.
You get the picture. We are country people! We work full time (much to my dismay). There are not enough hours in the day to do all that we would love to do, but we try our best.
I have so many interests, that I have began keeping them to myself because my close friends and family think I'm nuts. Feeling that it is not healthy to keep it, I'm letting it out in blog form. I have a wonderful life. I know this, but often get discouraged because I cannot DO everything I would like to. I am a bit of a bleeding heart and would like to help everyone and everything. I am constantly reeling myself back in. I have very unrealistic expectations of life and what I should be able to accomplish. I pray almost daily for my purpose to show itself so that I can put all of this focus and energy on one project. As of today, that hasn't happened yet.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else's mind works as mine does. If you feel that you have similar issues or aspirations, please comment. If you have nothing nice to say, please go away.
